1. Reversing Jaws
In crusher buckets, wear mostly occurs at the bottom part (discharge opening) of the jaws. The upper parts wear less.
- Tactic: When jaws wear down to a certain extent, remove them and install them upside down (reversed). This extends the jaw life by 100%.
2. Side Liners
Liners protecting the side walls of the bucket must be replaced when they become thin. Otherwise, the main chassis of the bucket wears out, causing irreparable damage.
