Hydraulic breakers: Red Series and Grey Series

Hydraulic breakers, also called hydraulic hammers, are HKM’s core product. They are used in demolition, mining, quarrying, tunnelling and infrastructure work, and HKM manufactures them in two lines that together cover carriers from about 0.7 to 100 tonnes.

Excavator attachments

Besides breakers, HKM builds hydraulic shears, pulverisers, crusher buckets, drum cutters, rippers, grapples, augers, concrete cutters and quick couplers. The catalogue spans 13 product categories.

Breaker tools and spare parts

HKM’s production range covers more than 20,000 breaker tool types (moil point, chisel, blunt and pyramid tools, with hard-rock and dust-grooved variants) and more than 50,000 spare part types in 16 categories, from pistons and cylinders to seal kits and tie rods. Tools and parts are compatible with more than 130 breaker brands, not only HKM’s own. They are produced within 5 working days, except for complex parts such as cylinders.

Factory, engineering and quality

HKM designs and manufactures in its own facility in the Dudullu OSB (Organised Industrial Zone) in Ümraniye, Istanbul. Production runs from raw-material sourcing through CNC machining and heat treatment to assembly, testing and packing, so one manufacturer stands behind the breaker and behind the tools and parts that keep it working.

The R&D unit at the same site uses FEM structural simulation, material fatigue tests and field performance measurements. Design features such as the New Power Cell, the Tie Rod system and Wide Oil Flow technology come from this work.

HKM’s production and service processes are documented and audited in accordance with ISO 9001. Before dispatch, every breaker goes through hydraulic leak, impact frequency, operating pressure and noise and vibration tests, and a test report is issued for each product. HKM has also exhibited at Bauma in Germany five times (2013, 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025).

Exporting hydraulic breakers from Turkey

HKM exports from Istanbul to buyers in more than 70 countries. The export team prepares the quotation, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the transport documents for road, sea or air shipment. Delivery terms and payment are agreed in the quotation.
