This tool performs a pre-selection based on catalogue values and is not a binding quotation. Attachments without a hydraulic supply, such as rippers, have no flow or pressure rows; those models are unaffected by the flow filter. The final choice is made together, based on material, workload and the hydraulic equipment of the carrier.
The rule that never changes
Whichever attachment you choose, the first criterion is carrier weight. If the attachment is too light for the machine, the machine crushes it with its own weight; if it is too heavy, the load on the boom pins cracks the boom and upsets stability. That is why models outside your tonnage never appear in the list.
The second criterion is hydraulic. Breakers, shears, pulverisers, drum cutters, augers and grapples are designed to work within a given oil flow range. Below that range the attachment works slowly and weakly; above it the excess flow turns into heat and stresses the circuit.
For attachments without a hydraulic supply, such as rippers, only tonnage and the mechanical connection matter; those models are unaffected by the flow filter.
Frequently asked
Can I fit more than one attachment to the same machine?
Yes, provided tonnage and hydraulic compatibility hold, the same carrier can be used with several attachments. A quick coupler speeds up changeover; quick couplers are also listed in this tool.
Why does the ripper appear without flow data?
A ripper is a passive attachment; it has no hydraulic supply and works through the boom movement of the machine. Its spec table therefore has no flow or pressure row, and the flow filter does not eliminate these models.
Is there a more detailed tool for breakers?
Yes. Because operating pressure is also decisive for breakers, there is a separate breaker selector that evaluates all 36 breaker models on tonnage, flow and pressure together.
Where do I find my machine oil flow?
The carrier operating manual states the flow provided for the attachment line. If the attachment line was fitted later, the actual flow may differ from the manual; if unsure, have it measured by your service.
Looking for a breaker?
Operating pressure is decisive for breakers. See the dedicated tool that evaluates tonnage, flow and pressure together.
