A journey that began with one craftsman's passion for machinery, Hakkı Özsaraç, has become a hydraulic breaker manufacturer exporting to more than 70 countries today.
- 1975
A Craftsman's Journey
Hakkı Özsaraç took an active role on site in Turkey's major industrial projects. His ability to develop fast solutions under demanding site conditions drew attention; the dream of building his own machines took shape in these years.
- 1984
First Venture
The first step into manufacturing with specialty mining machinery and excavator maintenance. Success in quality and time management established a reputation as a hydraulics and machinery solution center.
- 1985
Roots in Istanbul
High-pressure, heat-resistant hose manufacturing and technical installation consultancy earned a place in Turkey's major industrial facilities. The roots laid in Istanbul became the foundation of the brand that would later be born.
- 1987
YapSan is Founded
With the founding of YapSan, the first formal step was taken into the hydraulic breaker service and maintenance business. Collaboration with European manufacturers accelerated; YapSan became the main service center in Turkey for international hydraulic breaker brands.
- 1989
Spare Parts Manufacturing
As Montabert hydraulic breakers spread across Turkey, spare parts production and service infrastructure were strengthened. An independent supply chain was established.
- 1992
Production Capacity Grows
Flexible metal hose manufacturing was added; rapidly growing construction machinery demand was met with expanded production support.
- 2000
HKM is Founded
Leaving behind hydraulic hoses and all other business lines, the HKM brand and company were founded, positioned exclusively around hydraulic breakers. This decisive move laid the foundation for deep specialization.
- 2001
Exports Begin
HKM quality crossed national borders. Demand from abroad grew steadily from 2001 onwards; export became a strategic priority.
- 2006
First HKM Breaker: HKM 30
The first HKM hydraulic breaker was developed through an R&D project and entered production. The HKM 30's field performance and low maintenance costs set it apart and opened the way for new models.
- 2013
Trenchless Tech + First Bauma
Trenchless technology solutions were added through Tracto-Technik partnership. HKM made its first appearance at Bauma, the world's largest construction machinery fair.
- 2016
Bauma 2016
HKM appeared at Bauma 2016 with an expanded Red and Grey series lineup. Exports reached more than 50 countries.
- 2019
Muğla Branch Opens
A new branch in Muğla was opened to strengthen service and technical support for the Western Mediterranean region.
- 2020
Denizli Branch Opens
The Denizli branch opened to provide faster access to the Aegean interior and Western Anatolia. Branch network expanded.
- 2022
Red Series Mining Models
Red Series M models with reinforced bodies were developed for mining sites, the first product line dedicated exclusively to the mining sector.
- 2024
Full Attachment Range
Pulverizers, hydraulic augers, concrete cutters, grapples, hydraulic shears, rippers, and quick couplers completed the product range. One-stop total solution.
- 2025
shop-hkm.com.tr Launched
Online sales channel launched: 13 product groups, 20,000+ breaker tool variants and a broad spare parts range available from stock.
- 2026
New RS Series + Çanakkale Branch
Enhanced full-hydraulic RS series: 17 Red models for 3-100 t carriers and 17 Grey models for 0.7-55 t, 34 breaker models in total. Çanakkale branch completed the fourth location.
