How do I import hydraulic breakers from Turkey?+
The process comes down to three steps: you send us your carrier machine and application details, you approve the proforma invoice and make the payment, and your attachment is built and shipped to your address with the standard document set (invoice, packing list, movement/origin certificate, transport document). If you are in the EU, you also pay no customs duty thanks to the A.TR certificate.
Which countries does HKM export to?+
HKM attachments work in more than 70 countries today; we ship regularly to the European Union, the Gulf, Africa, Central Asia and the Americas. Contact our export team for the documents and logistics specific to your country.
What is the A.TR certificate, and do I pay customs duty in the EU?+
The A.TR is the document proving free-circulation status for industrial goods under the Turkey-EU Customs Union. HKM prepares and endorses the A.TR for your shipment; with it, the product enters the EU without customs duty and only your local import VAT applies.
Which documents are sent with the shipment?+
Every shipment includes a commercial invoice, a packing list and a transport document (CMR, Bill of Lading or AWB). Depending on your region, an A.TR, a EUR.1 or a chamber-certified certificate of origin is added; the document set is delivered to you or your agent for customs clearance.
Which delivery terms (Incoterms) do you work with?+
We work with Incoterms 2020, primarily EXW, FOB, CIF, CPT and DAP. We agree on the term that best fits your logistics experience at the quotation stage.
Which payment methods do you accept?+
The standard method is bank transfer (T/T): 50% advance on order confirmation and the remaining 50% at shipment. For larger orders a letter of credit (L/C) is also possible; all conditions are fixed in writing on the proforma invoice.
Is there a minimum order quantity?+
No, you can order a single breaker. For distributorship and fleet purchases, we recommend talking to our export team about volume-based advantages.
How long does delivery to Europe or the Gulf take?+
In-stock models ship quickly; for orders requiring production, lead time depends on the model. On the transport side, expect roughly 5-8 days by road to Central Europe and 12-20 days by sea to the Gulf.
How does the warranty work on export sales?+
Our hydraulic breakers carry a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. For spare parts and consumables the warranty period varies by part type; the scope is stated on the proforma and order documents. The warranty process runs through our distributor or directly through our export team; a case is opened with the serial number and a parts/solution plan is put in motion quickly.
Can I get spare parts and after-sales support abroad?+
Yes. We ship worldwide, including by air freight, from a broad spare parts stock covering every brand and model; consumables such as chisels, plugs and seal kits are also listed in our online store. In countries with a distributor, your first point of contact is our local partner.
Can I become an HKM distributor in my country?+
We are actively looking for new distributors. Simply fill in the dealer application form; based on your region, product range and targets, our export team will schedule an evaluation call with you.
How do I choose a breaker for my excavator tonnage?+
The deciding factor is the carrier’s service weight: every HKM model is designed for a specific carrier weight range. Check the carrier ranges on our product pages, or send us your machine’s brand, model and tonnage and our team will recommend a model.
