Attachment Comparisons
All three are used in demolition and recycling, but they belong to different stages: crushing, cutting and sizing on site.
A pulveriser crushes concrete and separates it from the rebar. It is the main attachment for post-demolition sorting and lets you recover clean scrap steel.
A hydraulic shear cuts metal: profiles, columns, pipe and steel structures. It is designed to cut metal, not to crush concrete.
A crusher bucket takes already-demolished material and crushes and screens it on site into a reusable size. It does not demolish; it turns post-demolition material into value.

No. A pulveriser crushes concrete off the rebar; a hydraulic shear cuts metal. Confusing the two is a common mistake, and working with the wrong attachment both slows the job and shortens blade or jaw life.
No. A crusher bucket belongs to the post-demolition stage: it crushes and sizes already-demolished material on site. Demolition is done by a breaker, pulveriser or shear.
It depends on the work. If you only do reinforced concrete demolition a pulveriser may be enough; if steel structures are involved you need a shear. A crusher bucket pays for itself only if you will process rubble on site — and in that case it is usually the fastest-returning investment.
